We created FireBalls™for those with contemporary decor, for those with a modern flair, for those yearning for an alternative to the ubiquitous gas log and for those who just want something different.
FireBalls™are made from the same high-heat resistant ceramic-bonded refractory material we use in the making of our gas logs. Sets are available in the 20″, 24″ and 30″ sizes. Chassis are offered in painted Black or Stainless Steel. Alterna Vent-Free sets are not intended, nor certified, nor warranted for use outdoors.
The burners feature our opposed louver, lanced port burners that have been the heart of our vent-free systems for thirty years.
Lighting Safety Control Systems include Manual, Switch/Remote Ready (with five transmitter choices: Basic On/OFF; On/Off with thermostat and countdown features; Wireless Wall Switch; Wireless wall Thermostat; and Wireless Timer); Variable Flame Height Remote Control; Millivolt Switch/Remote Ready; and Electronic Ignition System with Variable Flame Remote and Thermostat feature.
FireBalls sets are available in Natural Color (tannish gray, the base material color) and six ceramic stain colors made from Rasmussen’s proprietary formulation, including Black, Dark Gray, Light Gray, Beige, Brown and Adobe Red. See a ceramic stain color pallet here.
